Outlet Bay A small number of Eurasian watermilfoil (EWM) plants were observed in the outlet bay area which hosts the public boat launch ramp. EWM plants were present on the NE side of the bay at the edge of a stand of water shield and the W side of the bay adjacent to the grassy margin of the public beach area. EWM plants were present in water depths of 3 to 6 feet.
Public Beach Scattered Eurasian watermilfoil (EWM) plants were observed on the W side of the bay where the public beach is located. Native watermilfoil species were also observed in this area. EWM plants were present in water depths of 2 to 8 feet.
Cole's Bay A small number of Eurasian watermilfoil (EWM) plants were observed in the bay to the NE of Cole's residence. EWM plants were present on the NE side of the bay. EWM plants were present in the water depths of 3 to 6 feet.
Blue Bay Scattered Eurasian watermilfoil (EWM) plants were observed on the W side of Blue Bay in the area of large, anchored, blue and yellow inflatable float. This location had the largest number of EWM plants observed for Loon Lake. Approximately 20-25 EWM plants were observed but closer inspection by divers during the hand harvesting effort will probably observe many more. EWM plants were present in the water depths of 2 to 8 feet.
Northeast Bay A single Eurasian watermilfoil (EWM) plant was observed near a moored swimming float in this bay. The EWM plant was present at a water depth of 4 to 5 feet.
